The idea of marking the skin in tribal tattoos and other symbolic inscriptions has long functioned as a form of psychological containment, a limiter that marks the boundary between internal and external realities, enveloping the psyche and soma in an effective defence against trauma. I look forward to viewing this amazing and highly significant documentary.
